Rscustom/rsinjector-mac Rsinjector For Mac
Ok, I have an 85 Mustang GT with the 5.0 CFI with a 4/85 build date. I need to replace the injectors in it. My question is that there are apparently more than one kind of injector for these cars according to the computers at the parts stores. The first one covers p/n's E4ZE-BA, E5LE-AA, E5ZE-BA, E5ZE-CA, E5ZE-DA.
The second covers p/n's E5AE-EA, and E5SE-FA. Now, I have no clue what p/n's my car has on it and can't check as it is about 15-20 miles from where I live and I currently do not have my license.
Is there anybody here with a 5.0 HO CFI with a build date around 4/85 that might know which injectors I need and are the two injectors on the throttle body the same or are they different?? I would assume that I need the Mustang p/n's and not the E5AE-EA or E5SE-FA. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thanks in advance for any and all replies to this. 1985 Mustang GT 5.0 CFI/AOD (originally) Now: 306, AFR 185s, Edelbrock Victor Jr.

But hell, its the same pattern as the EFI ones so you can probably just use a aftermarket one instead if it fits.Ah. The CFI regulator doesn't have a vacuum line going to it like the SEFI cars. There is a metric adjuster screw in that CFI regulators. Get a fuel pressure gauge with the correct pipe thread and size.

Usually an adaptor for the fuel pressure gauge. This can be used to adjust the fuel presure to the FORD spec of 39 psi. Though a bit more can be used. The CFI regulator can be made adjustable.

How can you put a vacuum nipple on a regulator that doesn't have one and wasn't designed for a vacuum source? Your statement doesn't make any sense to me. Please explain how this can be done. I've also already stated that you can adjust the CFI Regulator with a metric hex wrench.
