Reference Management/bibliographic Software For Mac
While I was waiting for an answer, I stumbled upon this great program. This is probably the 6th I've tried, and I can happily say it's the best one out of all of them!.
Bibliographic Software Reviews
It can sync with a.bib file automatically (no need to keep exporting manually). You can add entries with a nice GUI. Compatible with Mac OS X.
You can manually edit citekeys (you also get to enter it while adding entries). No problems with formatting. Has many Citation styles (including IEEE). Has an online reference manager and journal finder. Can be synced with multiple devices (if you actually use that) I hope other people find it useful as much as it is for me.
I'm a graduate student of history, and have a vast reference library in my 'Bookends' Reference Management Program. I was able to access Bookends using Word 2011 for Mac, but that ability is gone with the 2016 version. Without the ability to either import or use my reference management software, Word 2016 for Mac is useless to me. Thank goodness I can still use the 2011 version. Is there a way to import my Bookends reference library into Word 2016 for Mac, or at least have access to it like I have with the 2011 version?

I have spent countless hours building and fine-tuning Bookends, and do not want to repeat the process for Word 2016. Again, Word 2016 is useless for me, as someone who depends on reference management programs for their work flow. I'm glad I still have access to Word 2011, which works beautifully with Bookends, and my work flow.
